busy times

I've been pretty busy lately. To sum up, I went to San Francisco to the ASA where I presented some of our kickin' research on Anesthesia Awareness and OSA. It was like being in the lion's den with some of the questioning that I was getting. But overall, I was very pleased with all of our posters and the way that the research was received. Hopefully we will be finding out about where it gets published pretty soon.

Then, I went to Connecticut to go to a couple of weddings. My friend Aaron got married on one weekend and my sister-in-law got married on the other weekend. In between, I managed to hang out with some of my CT friends, took some great hikes in peak foliage season (see the pictures below) and slept like I've never slept before. I was so tired and it was so great to finally just relax.

We've got a little one on the way, which is new since my last posting. Marji is 20 weeks now and we're going for the big ultrasound this week to find out the gender. I'm pretty nervous, I must say.

Well, Marji just got home, so I'm going to wrap this thing up. Later.
